Following an issue raised by the Liskeard Cycling Group, Liskeard Town Forum has led an effort to get the accesibility of the steps from Old Road to New Road at Moorswater Liskeard, modernised.

Liskeard Town Forum prepared a report, which can be read here, and organised a meeting with Highways England.

Following the work undertaken by Liskeard Town Forum, Highways England have agreed to undertake a feasibility study into improving the steps to make them useable with mobility scooters, prams and cycles.

Liskeard Town Forum will continue to push this project, and provide updates on a regular basis.
